MGFifteen ~ Sunday 1st August

Post by nigelandjo » Sun Jun 20, 2010 7:45 am

Full details of MGFifteen (which will be the last for a while of this format of event) can be found here: http://www.mgfregister.org/mgpitfiles/s ... tmgf15.htm

We need ideas for the paddock competition, so let me have your ideas please.

Let's have a good showing from West of England...

I have yet to book my place on the South Drive-in, but I will be doing so.

You can add me.

EDIT - finally booked on the Abingdon Run.
Really looking forward to this. 8-)

Thinking about this, especially as it may be the last one for a while.

What's the format? Is it a convoy up early on the Sunday morning?

We will be going up on the Saturday, although there's no actual event, just an informal gathering in the campsite. As we will be "working" we need to be there early, so makes sense for us to go on the Saturday, but we can drive back with you in a convoy :)

We are going up early hours Sunday morning, have booked the West Run in from Worcester area, although Iam sure we can get this changed if everyone else from the westcountry is going via Abingdon

Went to MGF1, so now we have returned to the marque MGF15 is a must - especially if its the last in the current format.

Hmmmm, just checked out the website and I'm tempted to do the run in from Worcester too, shame its 8am, this means a very early start on a Sunday morning :(

Still pondering this one.... :sf:

or come up the afternoon / evening before with a tent and share a few beers with us on the saturday night. No need for a pre 8am start then ;)

Great Idea Col, but I don't think the boss will be too enamoured with that one!

Have ordered tickets for the southern run and the event. Don't like very early starts so have booked an hotel which I hope will prove to be close to the start of the run lol.

I've had to make a tough decision:

Good news is I've booked me and Matt to go to MGFest 15, including the road run from Worcester. :D

Bads news is I'll have to give the Supercars at Wilton a miss this year as I was supposed to be going on holiday to Cornwall that day anyway!

I suppose life is full of compromises!

Is there a plan afoot for a convoy up to Worcester from the Westcountry?

Possible convoy from Devon and Cornwall, looking at a 6.30 start from Sedgemoor Services up to the Worcester run start for 8am.

Post names in the Devon And Cornwall section if you are up for it :D
