Are there many owners in North East?

Post by Roverdrive » Tue Apr 06, 2021 1:31 pm

I know main forum is where the 'action' is, but are there many owners in NE?

This stage of lockdown we can meet others outdoors....

Cheers

Hi Adrian,

I’ve just joined this forum and I’m from Washington.
I bought my MGF in 2019 after looking for a decent one for quite some time now.
I kept it in a lockup in 2020 where some kids got in and smashed it up with an axe.
It’s just come out of a restorers in Newcastle and hopefully getting mot’d this weekend.
Do you know anyone in the north east who pumps up the hydragas suspension by any chance?
Cheers for now
Mick

http://www.hydragas.co.uk/ lists garages offering pump up services.

Hi and welcome to the forum Mick

Sorry to hear about the vandalism and well done for getting her sorted out.
Unfortunately I am not in your part of the world but when I recently acquired our latest MGF it was really low and not pleasant to drive. A quick call to my local mobile MG specialist (Mike Stafford of MJS) and he arranged to pop in on his way between 2 bigger jobs and in 10 minutes and £40 she was drivable.

Thanks for the replies Nigel and James.
I’ll look up to see where my nearest hydragas service centre is.
Best wishes

Hi Mick,

There's a Rover Ex Part dealer https://www.turnbullmotors.com/ in Washington, there's also MGR Blaydon, and MG Rover spare Teeside at Billingham, rovetec at Stockton....

I'm just Low Fell so not far from Washington. Sorry to hear about car, but glad it's back :)
