Window position

Post by peteg » Thu Feb 05, 2015 1:37 pm

Hi
I recently bought an MGTF on a 52 plate and had trouble with the electric switch for the passenger window (as in it stopped working )so i changed the switch and it now goes up and down fine ,however the window dosn't seat properly in the rubber at the top so we get a lot off wind noise ,it looks like its in the wrong place compared to the drivers side ,i had it to my local garage man who lifted it up a touch but still no good as it catches the rubber as you shut the door so maybe its too high ?? ,has anyone else experienced this problem if so what is the correct position for the window ? i realize this is a bit of a tall order without actually seeing the door but iam not sure what to do.
Thanks Pete
