We used to have informal meets at the Boatyard pub at Riley Green but after its recent refurb it appears to have gone a bit up market price wise, so maybe need somewhere else near the M65 corridor more reasonably priced?
Two places spring to mind, The Walton Fox at Bamber Bridge, or maybe the Sycamore Farm at Burnley obviously we would need to book, also another thing to consider at this time of year which is better a weekday evening or Sunday lunchtime?
Your thoughts would be appreciated?

As mentioned via FB I'll be attending (in the MG6 BTCC Edition) - Simon (and also Marianne) brought the meet to our attention and asked if we'd like to attend as we do a lot with Simon Davies and North Wales, Cheshire & the Wirral MGF Register.

Another local MG6 owner is going to convoy along with me. I've asked a couple of customers who live Widnes way to see if they fancy popping along with their MGTF and LE500.

We'll be convoying along with Simon and Julie Davies.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks to everyone who attended 16 people in all, thanks to Colin & Steff who came from Bristol & Simon & Julie & the group from Cheshire you can't beat good food & a natter on a Sunday lunch. Sorry about the pic quality iPad is not the best for pics!

I wouldn't mind a pub meeting on a warm sunny lazy sunday afternoon, grab a beer or two and perhaps watch a game.
