Trying to tie up some loose ends tonight with this, booking ferries is the main stumbling block at the moment.

Event is listed as being three days, but only the Sat / Sun dates are on the rally plaque, moreover we would like to travel on the same ferries as everyone else, is there an itinerary up online yet?

I note from this forum that the 08:00 ferry out from Dover to Dunkerque is listed, but no ferry company (DFDS?) Also the 16:00 ferry back, but i don't know on which day (i presume Monday) - don't want to get this wrong if i can help it (it'll be a lonely ferry back if i do!)

Thanks in advance :sf:

...oh and it definitely WASN'T us responsible for Rick Astley last time around, we're far too classy for that, much preferring Chesney Hawkes! Think my Walkie Talkies are knackered, but will have the CB

The event on itself is a 2 day event (Saturday and Sunday). But for all people arriving already on Friday, we will have some beers together and a evening dinner for those who want.

Yep, that's correct Andy, out DFDS on the Friday morning at 08.00 Dover-Dunkerque, a nice drive to the event hotel followed by our usual get-together during the evening. Saturday and Sunday as per Pascal's instructions. Sunday after the event we go to Larochette to stay with Maria, 18 booked in for a Chinese opposite the hotel and Monday back via the 18.00 to Dover.

Hello all!

Are Joan and I too late to join the tour, as I have noticed that the website mentions 25 cars only??

If not too late, I can complete the registration form and book some ferries for the Friday.

Regards

Ron

Hi Ron/Joan, it will be lovely to see you on the TdL. You have our travel plans if you want to come over with us.

Do you want to join us in Larochette on the Sunday night (Hotel de la Poste and Chinese) ?.

Is there a link to the “Registréierten Lescht” as in the past years? Just to rub it in deeper with what I’m missing this year.

Hotel booked!! I managed to get three nights at 115E per night, as Joan and I are travelling onwards to The Netherlands on Monday morning. Will then be staying a further 11 nights up there (I suppose it is UP from Luxembourg??) before returning on 25th to the UK.

Thanks Adrian for the invitation for the Chinese meal in Larochette. Joan and I would love to join you all, and then we will return to the hotel for the night.

Thanks Pascal for the advice - think we have everything fixed now (Application form completed; Payment of 120E made; Ferry with DFDS at 0800 on Friday; a confirmed reservation at the hotel for three nights; a Chinese meal on Sunday evening; and a partridge in a pear tree...)

Thanks all!

Ron
