Well I'm glad about that as I'd booked the Travelodge for those dates not realising they were provisional :D

As the unconfirmed dates for Maanrock are 29/30 August (the following weekend from Kempenrit) do we look closer to Averbode for a hotel or stay in Mechelen ?

Is something being semi organised for Kempers or will it be self organised? Personally I'd probably go for Hotel Ve - Maanrock following weekend shouldn't be a problem as most people will be back home before then.

No I don't know anything yet, other than the date. So I'm trying to get prepared (hotel/cheap ferry etc) ready for when we're told. I don't know either if mgf.be are hosting the Day BeFore.

I'll contact Hannelore if the concensus is stick with Hotel Vé

Erik/Bruno/Luc any further details ?

John, Kempenrit is such an event I don't see why we can't make it semi-official and get ourselves organised and travel together. Maybe the Register will see it as an official event on our calendar as it's organised by the MGCC (Antwerp) and we've been there so many times before.

If Erik, Hans, Luc and Bruno wish we could manage the DayBeFore and the Bockor Café along with the Hotel Vé to keep it traditional.

Hi All

Personally i would like to see to see it run as its always been if possible ... its such a great weekend ... travel down in convoy, meet our Belgium friends at the border and do the Day beFore for lunch and on to the Hotel Ve ... even though it dosen't coincide with Maanrock , Mechelen has so much to offer :)
Depending on Ferry times i might go for a night in Premier inn in Dover before we leave the UK.
This weekend is a must for me and will happily go along with whatever can be arranged.

It will be David, see the dedicated thread in Europe.

Can we have it as an officially recognised event ?

Thanks for the updates Colin. I cleared September for Portugal and committed to Scotland in May. Oh well - Portugal another year.
