500 pictures, I'm not surprised, Yannick took pictures of everything and anything
Latest news, as briefly posted in General, Stu and Mel have the hire car and the Trophy was carefully placed on a trailer today and it's on it's way to Yorkshire where it will be bought back to life. Let's hope there's no problems with getting it repaired.

Re: 29 - 30.6.2013: RoadsterGate Tour de Lux 2013
Hi all,
Can I firstly say a huge thank you to everyone for their kindness, support and help over the last few days. Without the good will and community spirit of the MG community I don't feel for one moment we would have pulled through this difficult time in the way that we have.
I would Iike to add sincere thanks to Adrian and Dawn who have tried to look at other ways of getting us home which would have meant them sacrificing lots of their own time driving back to luxembourg to collect us and Buzby.
The efforts of Claus and Bruno in trying to repair the engine were amazing and I thank everyone for staying behind to support all especially Eric and Pascal who waited with me until the recovery arrived (along with the beer!) Thanks go additionally to the MG club of Luxembourg and Guy for collecting Buzby with his V8 ZTT and trailer and transporting back to Hotel de la Poste where Maria has been instrumental in getting arrangements in place for the recovery and looking after us.
As for the damage and repair, Adrian in his last posts is spot on in all respects. Buzby will be repaired back at home I hope without any trouble and I hope ready for the international event in August.
As things stand today Buzby is on route home and should be back home in a 2/3 weeks. We now have a hire car and at least can start to enjoy the remainder of our holiday although with a significantly changed itinerary.
We have been very moved by everyone's generosity - thank you!
We must not forget to remember why we had travelled to Luxembourg and that was to attend the 10th anniversary of the TDL. This was our third year attendance and again it was a spot on event and one enjoyed by all with further new friendships made and memorable moments, amazing driving and food enjoyed. Thanks to Pascal and Eric for arranging the event which I feel was a great success. We look forward to being back in 2014.
Take care everyone.
Stu, Mel and Eric!

Hi all,
Just a quick note to say we are safely back home in the UK. The remainder of the week just got worse with yet more trouble with the european breakdown comapny and we have come back in a rather somber mood but at least we are in one piece. We now wait for the return of Buzby and the process of getting repairs complete and the complex job of sorting out claims etc. I am not sure if we will get to the August event at this rate but let's see.
Will keep you posted!
Cheers,
Stu

Hi all,
The latest update. Following arrival in the UK last night Buzby is now back home in Yorkshire and tucked back up in the garage. Although a little dusty from the storage all in one piece which is great news and was transported on a 40t enclosed lorry all the home so she has been looked after.
Going to get the repairs sorted out now and hope all will be in order for the August event Germany! YEA!! Smiling at last!
Cheers,
Stu

Hi all,
Just a follow up to say that Buzby is back on the road, took her out on the maiden run today. There will be some work required this winter to get the engine back to the condition I would really like but it could be worse!
Take care all
Cheers,
Stu

This sounds good, Stu! Just read in the other thread that you sadly can’t make it to MGFIM next weekend. Still I’m looking forward to seeing you in September, the family will then be reunited again!

Hi all,
cleared my hardisk and finally got a gallery upload to dropbox.
Should bring back some memories and get an appetiser for upcoming MG Events.
Enjoy
