10-12th October 2014 MGCC Monaco Event

Post by colintf » Wed May 29, 2013 12:19 pm

This event takes place every 3 years (2005, 2008, 2011 and 2014 I believe) and I was informed of the dates earlier today from the President of MGCC Monaco

please note, MGCC Monaco members get priority for this event, but I know that some on here are members.

2011's event was less expensive than I expected http://mgccmc.com/vedit/pagina.asp?pagina=2512

More details to follow......

Hi Colin,
Thanks for let us know all the events in 2014 . . . and later ! Once again it will be difficult to make up our mind about those that we will do or not.

My pre-booking form is already sent to Monaco for the International MG Meeting in Monte-Carlo; and confirmed by the payment of a "pre-booking instalment" of 300€ in June 2013 !!! They don't lose time ! :P

It's been sunny and up to 16 degC along this French / Italian coast the past 2 days, not bad for December :thumbsu:

What are the mountain routes like through to Spain during October? Certainly on the consideration list!

Back now :D

2820 miles in all on a 11 country tour (we planned 10, 1 for each year of my TF) Uk, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Luxemboug, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland and Lichtenstein with Austria being an unplanned bonus :thumbsu:

Being October the scenery was great with the trees changing colour. But evenings getting dark

Amazed at the temperatures, high 20's for several days, with time spent on the beach in Italy and Monaco 8-)

Maria from Hotel La Poste says "hello" to the MG family as do Marina & Christian

Mighty glad I had the VHS kit fitted now

We climbed as high as 1800+ metres going up passed Col de Turini and we had hoped to top 2100m but traffic delays enroute to lake Como mention it was getting dark by the time we would of been doing that climb. Awaking next morning saw those mountains white with snow so just as well we took the short cut direct to Lichtenstein instead

Wish I could press rewind and do it all again now :D
