I am really glad that this is getting off the ground - although the team have so much past experience that it will probably hit the ground running! Excellent idea and a structure that I personally enjoy - pick a date, pick a location, tell people about it. I will be there in 2015 - after Hansrucktreffen 2013 has completed.

I realise I am a little late to the party, but being a new owner of an MGF I hope you will forgive me.
MGFIM sounds like a great idea, and I would certainly like to be a part of it.

Here's to summer 2015. (By then, I should have my project completed and ready to proudly show it off) :P

I like that, both the concept and the design of the website.

Are there any dates in the pipeline for next year, I have to book my summer holidays soon to avoid disappointment.

Now the dust has settled on MGFIM2015 which everybody seemed to have enjoyed, we look forward to 2017. The team already have a plan where one team are interested in organising it but at the end of this year's event another well established group have offered. Soon we can make an announcement but it's almost certain it will go to northern France/southern Belgium or western Belgium, two areas it's never been to of course.

It will be in an area easily accessible to most of us and knowing the teams it will be very well organised. The date will be up to the organisers as they will be doing the work (this year's event took one year of planning) but the international team will be guiding and helping.

As soon as we have the info we'll post it here.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

Don't worry Malcolm, we may have another big event to organise before 2017, I'm waiting for confirmation.

Did the mention of a big event before MGFIM2017 lead to anything? 2016 is upon us and diaries are filling.

No John, not that exciting it was MGF20 as the Essex region jumped in to help in a far greater way than they expected.

Plans are being made for MGFIM2017. It will happen, it will be good and it will not be too far but it is in Europe.

As soon as initial enquirers are answered we will let everybody know.
