I know of at least one MGF that is going!

I'm trying to sort out getting a 260 parked up on the MG Club de France clubstand!

I will be going ... allthough I don't know yet if I'll take the people carrier or the MGF.
The weather will tell me.

just heard from Joel (MG Club de France) so I'll be parking up with them on their Clubstand on the Saturday! Joel can be contacted via email - but i'll only give it out via PM - cant be too careful these days!

The plan is coming together to take the 260 out on the parade laps on the Saturday as well (if I can dodge the officials that is, and sneak in with the Triumphs - unless the MG boys and girls are doing the same - £85 but a once in a lifetime experience!). Even covered insurance wise (as it's behind a pacecar) courtesy of Peter Best insurance!

Sounds like a great event, now I know I have the time I might as well squueze in one more European trip.

I'll call you on the phone Colin for details, we can travel down together. Looking at the grids (6 of them) it looks exciting and I can spend some time with Joel, Erik and mgf.be again.

Hi all,

finally found my way to the new Board. If everything goes as planned, the LMC 08 edition will be my 4th. Everyone who's crazy about old racing cars, the smell of petrol, chatting with other passionates, the Le Mans circuit and his history... should be there. We even spotted Emma's car during the 2004 event.
We normaly arrive on Saturday around noon and park our car at the Carpark near one of the entrances. We try to sleep a couple of hours during the night in our car, so no camping for us. We go to LMC for the races, not to sleep ;-).

One of the most exciting things about LMC is the fact that you can walk between the cars, that you even can touch the cars at the pre-start. Last edition we even had a chat with Mark Knopfler (Dire Stratits) while he was waiting.

So,... I've put myself on the list below

Emma F- MGF
Peter & Pauline - CGT or RV8
Colintf - 260
Erikb - MGF?
Hollie + 1 - BGT
Adrian - MGF
Luc & Stephen - Jag X-type (sorry guys, no F)

A bit like Angouleme then, you can walk through the grids, touch the cars, talk to the owners and drivers and really get close to the action as it's a street circuit.
