I've already mentioned this to Adrian when we spoke a day or so ago. My invoice should be:

Nights of 2, 3 and 4th May (self catering) total price : 154,80 €
Breakfast supplement : 8,50 €/person/night total price : 34,00 €
Total stay rate: 188,80 €

Invoice is for Total stay rate: 238.00 €

I don't where the difference is but I'm sure it will be sorted before we get there - we have Adrian and Clive on the case.

I've just noticed a discrepancy in the figures that were forwarded to me - they seem to be the same for 2 or 3 nights ... surely a typo

Nights of 2, 3 and 4th May (self catering) total price : 154,80 €
Nights of 3,4 May (self catering ) total price : 154,80 €
Nights of 2,3,4,5 May (self catering) total price : 202,50 €

2 nights should cost less than 3 nights and 4 nights 'could' be near to double 2 nights? Quantity discounts will apply.

That may be the case John, however I don't know what discount Clive has obtained through the MGCCB, that may be the difference so I'm still waiting for confirmation. As soon as I get it, I'll update you all.

Here's the reply from Leslie at Floreal :

Hi Adrian,

Price affaire is based upon a misinterpretation.

The Floreal Resort confirmed :

“Accomodation/flats, from 2 – 4/05/2014”

I understood this being 3 nights.

According to hotel interpretation this is 2 nights ( 2 and 3 of May…………..leaving the 4th),

My mistake and I appologise for all inconvenience.

Prices are in effect :

Flat ( 3 p) TWO nights : 154,80 € ( total)

Flat ( 3 p) THREE nights : 202,50 € ( total)

sorry about this,

Kindest regards,

Leslie.

P.S.

………………..Still is a very good negociated price for this kind of accommodation .

Hope to see you next year.

I have booked and paid car number 197 if I remember correctly. I paid for a mate who is taking his own car but he hasn't got a number yet. We are both looking forward to this trip and this self catering flat idea looks good. We are planning on coming over early the day before so we can go via Cambrai on the way as we are both members of the Royal Tank Regiment it somehow seems right.

Lovely place Cambrai, I have been a guest of the French Air Force several times at Cambrai Air Field.

We are planning, as described in the other thread, to travel on the 12.00 DFDS to Dunkerque on the Friday.
