Sat 1st Feb mini European gathering Cassia Indian, bristol

Post by colintf » Sat Jan 04, 2014 1:18 pm

Saturday evening, table booked for 7.15 pm at the Cassia Indian Restaurant, 79 Gloucester Road, Patchway, Bristol BS34 5 JQ

The idea came about during the Christmas Gathering in Blankenberg / Cologne last month when The Birdies (Martin and Doris) said that they would be visiting Bristol (they live in Germany, but Martin has family in Bristol). Steffi is also in uk that weekend

The idea of meeting up for an Indian meal was quickly suggested and agreed and then the numbers joining in the fun started to grow :D

So far table booked for 10 of us

Col and Steffi
Martin and Doris
Adrian and Dawn
Pete and Lin
John & Lyn
MikeH

Others are welcome to join us but must prebook via this forum thread so I can amend the table booking :thumbsu:

We'll book the HIE too.

Anybody else fancy a weekend in Bristol ?

Colin, before dinner can you show us around the town ?, we drove through it many years ago on the "effing the bridges tour.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.

I was thinking maybe if its nice weather, then down to the waterfront (the old floating harbour), and walk around there, then maybe back around the Cathederal and some of the other older nicer parts. We enjoyed a nice day around there a few days ago 8-)

I'll sort out a bed somewhere after you reply.

Cheers
