You'll have a lovely weekend I'm sure Ron, this will be our 7th TdL. I'll call Maria and book two extra places for the Sunday evening dinner.

Yes, it is up to Holland

Thanks Adrian for the invitation for the Chinese meal in Larochette. Joan and I would love to join you all, and then we will return to the hotel for the night.

Thanks Pascal for the advice - think we have everything fixed now (Application form completed; Payment of 120E made; Ferry with DFDS at 0800 on Friday; a confirmed reservation at the hotel for three nights; a Chinese meal on Sunday evening; and a partridge in a pear tree...)

Thanks all!

Ron

Are we just meeting at the ferry terminal on Friday morning, or somewhere en-route to Dover?

it's a bit difficult to meet on the way Ron unless it's Thurrock so I guess the quay at Dover will be best.

Yesterday I mailed out the Sunday night menu for the restaurant in Larochette, if you didn't receive it please let me know. If you did, please send back your requests.

TdL is creeping up on me very very quickly and I'm really not prepared.

I know where I'm sleeping Friday - Sunday. No idea yet when I'm crossing over. No idea yet if I'm overnighting on the way out. No idea yet when I'm coming back. No idea where I'm going after TdL.

I do know I'm looking forward to being there and meeting up with so many friends again.

We're sorted, ferry crossing booked for Monday 7th , three nights in Belgium (Nieuwpoort) one night in Germany (Cologne) and then a nice drive down to Luxembourg :thumbsu:

Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again.

Plan beginning to come together - Thursday night in Dinant so we can have time on Friday to look around the Citadel and maybe have lunch before the short hop to Stadtbredimus. Still no idea when we shall come home.

I wish you all a great time in Luxembourg, have fun, drive safely and get back well. Hopefully the weather will be fine as it has been over the past years. It’s a shame I can’t join you this year, we’re off to the Baltic coast tomorrow morning. That’s no mobile phone, no internet, just relaxing for one week.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of you in September.

Hi all,

Sorry for not being in touch for a while. Not too sure where time is going at the moment.

Unfortunately I have had to withdraw from this event. I have dropped notes around to all concerned. I'm really sad not to be coming and the decision has nothing to do with the event.

I wish everyone a great weekend and hope to join you all next year or at the events later in the year.

Take care,

Stu.

Just a quick post, more for anyone who has not been to TdL or one of our overseas events before, if anyone needs help or assistance or even just wants to say hi and chat over a beer in the evening / lunchtime please find me if I haven't found you first
There are many of us who have done many such trips and MGCC Luxembourg are also a great group so there's plenty of help and advice
