There are many of us who have done many such trips and MGCC Luxembourg are also a great group so there's plenty of help and advice

Remember your two way radios as well :thumbsu:
Will you wear a red carnation so we can recognise you???
No, but I am a mucky brown colour after Classic Le Mans 8-)

Enjoyable three days in Belgium, tomorrow we drive across to Cologne for the night.

Really hope the wind drops for everyone still to cross the channel. The wind here today has been really bad all day & the sand blowing off the beach is terrible.

See you Friday :thumbsu:

We'll that was the scariest run to Dover we've ever had it was raining very hard on the M25 & it took us 45mins to get over the Dartford Bridge on the M20 a poor woman in front of us aquaplaned into the crash barrier & all her holiday clothes were strewn all over the carriage way the TF is not the best thing to be in in that weather so we took it carefully & caught a later ferry but anyway we are installed in the Campanile at Dunkerque & all is well.
See everyone tomorrow.

After a really good run from a wet & windy Nieuwpoort to a very warm & sunny Cologne for a bit of shopping.

We were settled in our hotel but that thunder & lightening took us by surprise (seemed to be directly above us at Cologne Bonn Airport), hope the heavy rain washed the sand off the car from the storm in Nieuwpoort, if it didn't then we will be looking for a car wash this morning.

Have a safe journey everyone, see you all later this afternoon.

many thanks to Eric, Pascal and MGCC Luxembourg for a really great Tour de Lux. (or Tour de Europe as we enjoyed France and Germany as well as Luxembourg)
Great Scenery, Great route and roadbook was spot on. Great food and winetasting, great company, all in all a great weekend and I look forward to 2015's TdL already.

I hope everyone is having / had a good safe journey home

I hope everyone had a good safe journey home.
Thanks everybody for the kind words and emails. Your company is well worth all the stress we had the last months for organizing the TdL. Unfortunately I couldn't take part on Sunday. Sorry for this.
There will be a new edition in 2015 !!!

Bit late getting back after extending TdL on to Bitche in France for a few days.

Wonderful TdL yet again. Although our accident on the way down took the shine off for us and we missed Saturday completely organising and collecting a hire car, we still enjoyed the social parts of the weekend. Nice hotel and restaurant, great Mill location for Sunday lunch and the wine tasting and evening meal was a highlight for us.

Suzuki Swift is not an ideal car for joining an MG convoy or road run so we did our own thing and met up at stops.

Already looking forward to 2015 but not in a Swift- maybe MX or Tittie?

glad you got home ok John & Lyn and really hope your TF gets saved. You know you will always be part of us regardless of what you drive, but, if it can't be an MG then please make it the Aston :thumbsu:

Have only just got back from a longer stint in the Netherlands (Vlissingen and Egmont-o-Sea) after leaving TdL, and so belated thanks for a great event which was well organised by Eric & Pascal and Co. Many fond memories of places we visited, people we met, food we ate, etc!

Looking forward to more....!
