Hi Alan, Kjeld was telling us about your place when he stayed here recently, it sounds rather exciting and we're looking forward to it. Kjeld says he may join us in Norway, would you and Jette be able to come over too ? If you need anything bought over please let me know.

Hi Adrian.

Yes it would have been nice to join you all in Norway, but unfortunately we have lots of family events and must admit to funds shortage at the end of it all, but maybe another time, that would be nice.

As we are visiting family in England ourselves already in June, you need not bring anything for us, but thanks for the offer.

The Bisto joke, is Colins fault, and Alan is not totally integrated, ha ha, my gravy is not good enough for him!!!!!

I will try my best to see you too, but as I am still a slave to work, I may not be able to get time off, sorry about that.

Well hope to see you in August, Alan will of course!

Jette and Alan. :) :thumbsu:

Oops not to well prepared for the Norway trip I forgot to get the cambelt changed as its 4yrs old also getting a new accelerator cable fitted as you need a right leg like Arnold Schwarzenegger to press the peddle down its like an on/off switch & makes driving in traffic tricky :D

Colin, I can't find the post you refer to on mgf.be do you need to be registered??

Two weeks tomorrow and we're on our way. I've calculated the distance in Norway as at least 1,322 miles but there are a a couple of longer options that we can take. We also have a scenic drive from bottom to top of Denmark to get the Hitshals-Kristiansand ferry. Providing there are no family disasters (we have Dawn's mother quite ill at the moment) we'll see some great sights, amazing roads and the longest tunnel in Europe (it's got blue lighting to avert lack of daylight with a large area like a chamber in the middle). The Daytona will like this.

Believe it or not, after five weeks in hospital they still cannot diagnose her condition. It's unlikely she'll ever walk again they have said so the mid to long term is looking grim. She is still paralyzed and cannot move from the hospital bed, getting home is looking unlikely.

We should be able to stop there, we have all day to take the scenic route north to Hirtshals for the ferry to Kristiansand. Thanks for the tip Alan.

We're nearly ready Neil. Pearl had her nose re-sprayed, the stone chips were really annoying me. Oil and filter changed, air filter cleaned etc, two new front tyres ordered for Monday and we're good to go too. Don't forget your two way radios. See you at Harwich :thumbsu:
