Regalia for Europe

Post by Emma Jackman » Fri Jul 04, 2008 8:30 am

Hi all,

Getting excited about Kempenrit / Zug - as Adrian will testify! Although I won't technically be doing the regalia after Fest08, does anyone want me to bring anything specific along (workshop manuals etc.) I'm going to have very little space available due to having 2 peoples luggage for 11 days in the car, so I'm thinking of items that can't be posted to Europe (manuals, a couple of umbrellas). I've taken Friday 1st August off to try to get the car packed / cleaned :thumbsu: :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Emma, what has sold well over the years ?, grille badges I recall (as we are cheaper than the Car Club), pin badges don't take much room, T shirts will always go, baseball caps usually sell well in Europe. Umbrellas may not unless it rains, workshop manuals are heavy and take up space. Think of what space you have in the car once you have packed, I don't think there will be much.

We really need application forms for FTF and a couple of sample issues, Tim, if you have any left after Fest can we take some ?

Great idea Emma, clever marketing :thumbsu:

I'd like to have one "Black polo shirt with grey stripes at sides. Embroidered MGF Register logo."
XL should work, otherwise I have to extend my running sessions :D

Can I pay in Euros ?

Herbie: Sure I'll bring one along. I should have mentioned that price for those t-shirts is now £18.00 (sorry), you're more than welcome to pay in Euros :-)

Adrian: My thinking behind this is that all the small items can be bought online and posted over for only a small increase in postage. The continent guys don't have access to our heavier items without being badly stung with postage costs.

The List

I understand Emm, whatever space you have I'm sure heavy items (and umbrelaaaaas) will fit.

I doubt we'll have room as we are on the road for two weeks and I've already got quite a lot of stuff extra for our Euro friends.

Sorry Herbs, just realised that I have given all the t-shirts to Elaine (new regalia person), but I'll put you in touch with her and she can stick one in the post for you.
