Thankyou Mykel Niederrhein Tour 2014

Post by colintf » Mon Sep 15, 2014 5:44 pm

Thankyou / danke again Mykel for such a great weekend.
A lot of fun as always and great to catch up with friends again, some I had not seen for several years

I cannot think of another overseas event that is so successful that it becomes fully subscribed before it is officially announced, and that speaks for itself :thumbsu:

Danke Mykel

Hi Mykel,

I fully with Colin's compliments, we too had a Fantastic weekend on the NiederRhein tour. We only lacked a bit of extra time to chat with long time friends who had been out of our focus for a while.

Thanks Marion & Kasper

It was so so good to see you both again after what must be a couple of years.

It's always great to catch up with the regulars (and new people) on these trips but it's even better seeing those that have not seen for a while like you both, Herbie (must be nearly a year) and Stu (must be a little over a year)

Yep me too. How on earth can you apologise for straying out of the Neiderrhein Region in to the Eiffel ?. With those roads as good as they are bring on 2015. We didn't leave too much rubber behind on the bends   Sorry

I think we can say we are very happy with the Hotel Rath in Schwalmtal and even more so the Hotel Graf Rolshausen in Monchau, we would be keen to stay in either again.

We just got back after extending our trip by a couple of days in Brugge.

Just about everything has already been said so I shall just add our names to the thanks

Thank you very much Mykel, you did it again!! :thumbsu:

Three years in a row an excellent tour, it's been great. We loved the hotel in Monschau, definitely worth to visit again!

You can have a well deserved rest now (for a few weeks) before planning the next one.

We'll be there!!

We have a few of our Essex Region members who want to come. Sounds a bit like a scrum when the entries open next year.

Those Germans are cheap :thumbsu:

Got a speeding ticket on the way back from Monschau, was doing 65 (after correction) where 50 was allowed

Today I opened up the letter and found I have to pay €25 :o

Same ticket in Holland will cost you €127

So, everything seems better in Germany

Dave and I must have missed that then, we were just behind you, was it after the 16km straight road towards the E40 ?

I must have missed that as well then Adrian as I was seldom more than 3 TF lengths behind you from Monchau to Bruges.

It was in Roetgen (north of Monschau), you went probably more west in the direction of Eupen.
