A very sad day indeed

Post by adrianclifford » Sat Feb 14, 2015 1:26 pm

June 2005 at the EEOTY in Holland Dawn and I met a wonderful couple who were to remain good friends for nearly ten years. Earlier this week Marion Wouters was taken from us at the age of 50  .

Dawn and I and all who knew her are devastated and we all feel so sorry for Kasper who must have a huge hole in his heart where Marion was.

They have travelled to so many places with us and the Register's European tourers, we have so many good memories, no bad ones. Friends, family and those from mgf.be have lost a great friend too

We last saw them on the Neiderrhein Tour back in September and we made promises to celebrate our ten year friendship this year with them. They were to visit us again at MGF20, having enjoyed MGF10 so much. They took part in so many events with us I could not list them all.

Marion will be greatly missed.

Greatest sympathy to Kasper at this time.

A very sad day indeed

My first recollection is Kempenrit and The Day Before, I'm guessing 2006
My main long lasting memory is the time we spent together on the run down to Zug in 2008 when, as I was driving alone, they took me under their wing and made sure I was behind them on the road and so not lost, such good fun and always a pleasure to share time with Marion and Kasper

Our condolences to Kasper

I will always hold a mental picture of Marion with a huge big smile on her face

Kasper, we might be a few miles and have sea between us, but we are all here for you

Colin

We received this very sad news this morning.

We know Marion and Kasper for about 10 years and this message is hard to believe and hard to accept.

The Day before next August will never be the same without her.

It was a shock to hear the news of Marion's passing. She was a lovely and funny girl and we always enjoyed her and Kasper's company.

Our thoughts are with Kasper and his family.

I have only just heard this very sad news and when I read about it felt a complete sense of loss. Marion was a lovely person and 'one of the family'.

My thoughts and sincere condolences go out to Kasper.

I have called Kasper today, and het asked me to post the message that, if there are people who want to go to the funeral and if there would be a possibility to come by MG, It would me very much appreciated by Kasper. It would be a honour to have as much MG's as possible to accompanying Marion in here last trip.
For many people Marion was just a part of the MG community. It would never be the same again !

If I can get my passport back in time, I sent it away for renewal on Tuesday, I'll be there. I spoke to the Passport Office today and there's a chance I can collect it in London on Wednesday so I'll get a very early ferry on Thursday or a late one Wednesday and stay at Dunkerque.
