We are very sorry to hear this very sad news. We met several times over the years, I think MGF10 in 2005 was probably the first time and then a few other times both here and on the continent. Marion will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with Kasper and family.

I really cannot find words to describe how I felt when I saw Kasper's dreadful news. I first met Marion and Kasper in a layby on the N355 near Ramskapelle in 2006 and have a Kodak Moment of Marion's wonderfull but enigmatic smile and her tranquility. Like others, I was taught European kissing etiquette by Marion and over the years I was upgraded from a single cheek to both cheeks. I last saw Marion at the end of Neiderrhein Tour 2014 when she said we had known each other long enough to move up to a full three kiss the next time we met. I deeply regret that I did not sieze the opportunity while I could. Kasper, Lyn and I send our deepest sympathies to you. Others have said that we are all friends and will be here for you. Hopefully we will meet again before too long.

God Bless Marion.

Although i never had the pleasure of meeting Kasper and Marion may i be allowed to add my thoughts are with you all, especially Kasper. The posts that have been made show how close friendships grow through sometimes chance meetings that turn into true friendships :-(

MG - The Marque of Friendship

You buy a car and really have no idea when you buy it as to where it could lead you or some of the great friendships you could make.

Thanks for your kind words Malcolm, Kasper & Marion where the greatest couple you could ever want to meet.

I won't be at our meet tomorrow as I'm off to collect my passport now from the distribution centre and Pearl and I are going on the 6am ferry so we will be there after all.

Just a very brief reply to all your kind words: It is realy heartwarming to have so many MG friends who support in times of need: Thank you. In a later stage I'll be able to write my feelings down for those that are not able to pop up on my next MG venues. Give me some time and I'll be there.

For those who are so kind to accompany Marion on her last trip: It would be highly appreciated if you could turn up with your MG at the mortuary before 13:00. Strick at that time we will leave for the crematory. We (MG's and family) will meet the other people at the crematory.

At the mortuary there is ample parking space: Mr van Coothstraat 9 in Veghel.
The trip to the crematory is about 6 miles.
At the crematory they are trying all they can to have a special MG-only parking area. It might be difficult as they are rebuilding the site right now.
After the formal ceremony I would appreciate if we can find some time together before you leave.

All the best.

Thank you for the information Kasper.
Hope we will make it in time to join you already at the mortuary. I know some have already left from home and are
heading towards you.
We try our best and hope we will give Marion a great cavalcade on her last trip.
See you tomorrow
