Yes it would have been nice to see you too Neil and Barbara, but as you put it, one can't do all the trips.
It certainly is a good adventure with lot's to see.
Who knows, might meet up in the future sometime.

As per popular request, parts of the Rhine Tour can now be booked individually. This includes the following options:

Swiss Round (19-21 August)
(This is mainly intended to give the Swiss/Austrian/South German MG fans an opportunity to join)
Meeting on Sunday morning, we will start with the early bird drive and then have joint dinner in the evening at Hotel La Cruna. On Monday, the tour will go down the Alpine Rhine, through Liechtenstein and the Bregenz Forest towards Lake Constance. Tuesday will see us driven on the northern shore of the big lake, ending up at the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. So (besides some stretches in three other countries) a purely Swiss tour.

Starting in the Black Forest (21-26 August)
(Serving those who are afraid to drive too far – or wish to avoid the Swiss motorway sticker)
Meet the rest of the gang on Tuesday evening for dinner at Hotel Sternen in Breitnau. You will then be with us for the remaining tour down the old river to Holland.

Just the Weekend (24-26 August)
(if you can’t get off work for long)
We meet in Mainz on 9 am Friday morning (hotel rooms for Thu-Fri in Mainz are available as an option). Or, if that’s too early, on Loreley at noon.
