"Dear Lux Tourer, as you probably already know, this year the Tour de Lux will be held on 29 and 30 June 2019.
After the last years successful themes of the Tour de Lux, the Castle Tour in 2016, Second world war Tour 2017, Coal industry Tour 2018, we will this year conquer the sky.
This year, we will stay in the Hotel Légère Luxembourg, a modern hotel situated in L-5365 Munsbach, 11, rue Gabriel Lippmann, where we managed to get a favorable rate of 99€ for a double room incl. breakfast. On Saturday we will drive around Luxembourg and the west of Luxembourg, for lunch we have been invited to a private charity lunch where we will get an aperitif, traditional piglet on a split, salads, homemade cake and coffee and music (drinks included). In the afternoon we will have a walk around the site of SES, the world’s leading satellite operator situated in Luxembourg. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to the Hotel for dinner. The Sunday tour will bring us to the river Mosel with a detour to Germany and France. In the early afternoon we will visit the microlight airport in Kanfen (France) for a barbecue and a visit of the site. The courageous of us can even enjoy a 20 min. sightseeing flight over Luxembourg depending on the weather.
We are still in the preparation phase so the program is not yet fixed but we hope that you will enjoy the weekend. As we included this year more meals, the participation fee is a bit higher than the last years and will be 100€ for the driver and 80€ for the co-driver. The participation fee includes the Saturday lunch (drinks included), the Saturday dinner (without drinks) and the Sunday barbecue (soft drink included), a Rallye plate and a gift. The sightseeing flight will cost 50€ p/p and is absolutely to recommend. Please let us know if you are interested for a flight and we will try to organize enough pilots for a group flight.
