Thanks for the link Chris, it's all on there now, the whole event from Emma and my point of view, plus Kasper's write up of the day we missed.

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Got home around 10:30 after a brief stop at Oxford services last night. Car into garage and just walked away from it and then fell into bed and then slept through until now. Can't say I have had enough sleep yet but need to unpack the car and try to get sorted. Pictures & thanks will follow shortly for a great two weeks on the road. It seems strange driving as a solo F now but it is only two weeks or so before the next F weekend

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
We got home at 2am after a couple of stops.
Was a really good couple of weeks, thanks to all who had any input on the organisation, it was superb.
Did seem a bit strange driving on our own after 2 weeks of keeping your eye on who's in front & whos's behind!!!

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
glad you all got back ok - seemed very strange driving back without any other F's / TF's and no radio contact!
What a fantastic 2 weeks - great company and stunning scenery / drives.
Now the difficult bit, remembering all those that need to be thanked!!
Thankyou to : -
mgf.be for the Day Before - fantastic day enjoyed by all!
the organisers of Kempenrit - again, another great event!
Claude and Danielle for their input on the trip from Kempers to Zug, and leading us there.
Kasper and Marion for leading me on so many journeys - I hope that you are both having a great time in Italy!
Adrian and Dawn for organising the trip and pulling it all together - a fantastic time was had by all!
and finally, to everyone there at both events, for making them what thety were!
......chippy tea anyone?
2760 miles door to door using 295.65 litres of petrol = 42.5mpg overall.

Have not looked the petrol yet. Will save that for when I am awake more.

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Only 2453 miles for us.
But I've got 1562 pictures to go through so I can put some up.
Thanks to all for making the trip, without the people there is no event or story to tell. Considering the heat, the distance, the climbs and descents the cars stood up to it very well .
Looking forward to Wales so we can all meet up again.
Now for Norway 2009

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Dave and i would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who joined us on both the Kempenrit and EEOY trips especially Adrian Claude Kasper and Dieter whose huge amount of input in order to get it all together helped make it the resounding success that it was.
I must say for our MGF family of 11 that carried on to the EEOY the greatest piece of onboard kit proved to be the RTs yorkshire and lancashshire wit lively banter great cameraderie what more can i say.
Thank you one and all for a truly wonderful magical mystery tour.(there i just had to add that beatle theme) oh wot a night that was!!!!!!!
Likewise we also arrived tired but happy back in Northants at 10-20 parked car in garage and hit the hay loads of unpacking washing(both clothes and car left till Sunday)

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Would just like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the great european tour. Special thanks to the organisers both from home and our European friends who all helped with routes, accomodation, special forms etc. etc. and just making sure that we had a wondeful time. It was great to see old friends along the way and the group as a whole were great company and we were lucky to have almost trouble free MGF's - we actually drove 2658 miles. The scenery was stunning and the passes were fabulous - how many did we do, did anyone count? Again, thanks to all you organisers we could not do it without you!!
