@ John,
there will be a roadbook from the hotel to the kempenrit and back again, just as last year. I'm will be with you at the hotel on Sunday morning so we will do the trip in closed group. No worries about getting lost in Belgium.
I'll try to publish the coordinates of the important points along the road on a website later on this week. But here are already some coordinates to start with
starting Point day BeFore
51° 6'35.24"N
2°45'24.24"E

Luc & Kasper
Thanks guys.
No problems at all, I never mind getting lost, I've been doing it for over 60 years now.
Just spent a bit too much on a new SatNav and still learning the menus so thought I'd setup a few favourites "just in case".
Looking forward to meeting up at E40 J3 on Saturday and then getting re aquainted over lunch.
See you all next week.

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Friday night before the trip
A few of us are staying in the Ashford area before the short hop down to Dover on the Saturday morning. We seem to have managed to book separate hotels between us but it would be good to meet up for a meal and a drink or two to start the trip off well.
I believe there are 3 hotels (at least) been used
Ashford Travel Lodge - Kevin & Debbie
Ashford Central Holiday Inn - ChrisT
Premier Inn Ashford North - Steve & Alison & myself
Anyone else I have missed?
The last two hotels have restaurants within or attached. Any one fancy a meal and a drink? Does not matter where we meet up as all the hotels are close together.

Kasper, did you get the mms I sent with your Kempenrit and Run to Zug rally plaque on it ?
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.
Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
To all,
below you can find a link to the routes for next Saturday and Sunday for those using TomTom. The files are created by using TomTom6 and I hope they can be used with previous versions. For those using a map or other Nav systems, dont worry... road books are made for everybody.

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Thanks for that Luc
As a single driver they will be very useful to see the route before the day and to aid navigation.
Road books I can cope with alone in the UK but when on the 'wrong side' of the road and with more unusual town names it is not so easy to navigate on main land europe alone

Karin and I wish you all a safe and enjoyable trip to the Kempenrit and beyond - don't know what your route/itinerary is but we shall be travelling across Europe from Sunday 10th - Calais/Metz then Metz/Augsburg so if you see the Green Squirrel give us a wave!
Good to see Luc is still putting together routes for the Brits and if you read this Luc then we say Hi to you and the rest of the Benelux gang.

Nigel, there is no ABOUT in Adrian's brief. We meet AT 1330 at the bottom of the E40 J3 exit ramp.
I hope we will hear no more inexactitudes from you this coming weekend. You hold the future of the very fabric of MG society in your hands.

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Blimey, John's alert today
Colin, as you and Simon are on the train, you will probably get there first.
I am emailing the groups out to you tomorrow so you know, as always consideration is given to solo drivers, you will have plenty of others around you to assist in overtaking etc.

Re: Kempenrit & the European event of the Year, Zug
Hope you Guys and Gals enjoy Kempenrit and your European Tour to Zug.
We are about to unleash the car to take us to the Alps to relax for a week before Zug.
Looking at the EOTY Handbook, Marcus and his Team have a Marathon week planned for us.
See you at the Cattle Market.
