The North American MGB Register (NAMBGR) held it yearly convention in French Lick, Indiana, this past week. There were approximately 370 cars registed for this 4 day event. This was the first year that the Post Abingdon/Modern MGs had their own catagory (Post Abingdon/Modern MGs are MGs built after the Abingdon factory closed in 1980. No new MGs have been imported to North America since 1980).

We had a great turnout for the car show, with a total of 3 MGFs and 2 RV8s. All day long people were constantly coming by to admire these cars. As is always the case when we show our cars people can't get over what a get looking car the MGF is and cannot understand why these cars were not imported to Canada and the US. Without a doubt Rover/MG Rover could have sold every car imported. Oh well, at least us lucky Canadians can now enjoy them.

New year's national convention will be held in Niagara Fall, Ontario, Canada, June 8-12, and I'm sure it will be a great event. Its being hosted by the MGCC of Toronto. http://www.mg2015.com
