There was a man with an MG
Who drove it for ev'ryone to see
It often broke down
Which caused him to frown
The man with the faulty MG.

Re: MG Limerick
I like this version better - LOL.
There was a girl with a shiny red MG
Who drove it for everyone to see
It went faultless mile after mile
Which caused her to smile
The girl with the shiny red MG.

Re: MG Limerick
For MGF's there is a Forum
where most of the owners seem to adore 'em.
Some of them write
most anything they like (although it's not always right).
Yet it never seems to bore 'em.
(Nominated for the Limerick Of The Year Oscars at the National MG Limerick Writing Contest . . . . entries close midnight Sunday 10 April when the Grand Final will be judged . . . . by me ! (that's fair isn't it ?)
All we need now is sponsorship (say a new VVC engine for the winner) and this could really take off
