New Bloke on the block
Hello every one my name is Steve, and i live in Elsenham Essex, i have changed sides somewhat as i was a Triumph Stag owner until some body made me an offer i could not refuse and i sold it, after all everything is for sale .
I have always been a fan of all MG's but this is my first, It is a MGF VVC 1.8I....year 2000 Blue in colour 32000 miles genuin as i have all the MOT'S and bills etc. i purchased it on a whim, i saw it.. checked and drove it... bought it....all done and dusted in a day.
The car looks in good nick drives very well and it cost me £1750 which i think is reasonable what do you think?
I have been out for a lively trip today top down, it holds the road much better than my stag and i would say quicker, so my first impressions are ..i think i have made a good choice we shall see...Steve

Hello Ian i have just accidently reported James when i pressed the wrong button ..but i think your ok.Worzel wrote:Hi Steve, welcome to the MGF Register, hope you enjoy your F, great mileage of which I think we'd all like to have

I was very lucky really the car had been sitting for a while at a place i often visited for work and i was always tempted to stick a note on it but never did, months passed... then i saw the chap and asked if it was his mgf, his answer was yes do you want to buy it...over eager i thought... but to my surprise its an all together car... nice inside no rips...paint very nice small touch up on bonnet another on a door...engine no leaks..a little tappet noise which goes after warm up.. there may be a slight wine or drone not sure where from yet.. but to be fair im not bothered its just a fun car that looks good and drives great.
I am never going to do your sort of milage Ian no more than 3K, i have been very lucky with the milage i have all the mots but not many bills which does not mean to say it has never had them but i have no reason to think it had more...Steve
