HELLO FROM BONNIE SCOTLAND
First of all i would like to say hi to each and every one of you lovely lovely people & i am glad i have finally come to the online Alcoholics Anonymous forum & found so many hear to help with our ongoing addiction to the dreaded booze.
Talking now is the first sign of beating this addiction.
''WHAT YA MEAN THIS IS NOT ALCAHOLICS ANONYMOUS & IT'S THE MGF REGISTER''
(dam i need to stop drinking and surfing the net LOL)
No I'm not an alcoholic HONESTLY DR.
I am however the new owner of a 1997 MGF 1.8i VVC in the lovely Tahiti Blue with a Black Heritage Hard Top.
I have always been a fan of British cars (''having owned 7 Classic Mini's) & have always found the looks of the MGF very nice on the eye & i like them that much i parted with my Fiat Coupe 20 Valve Turbo to get my hands on my new baby.
I look forward to becoming a member of the family and hope to meet lots of you at up and coming shows throughout the UK & also picking your brains for how to and the need help etc.
Many thanks.
Tony McCagh

Re: HELLO FROM BONNIE SCOTLAND
Is there much life in this site at all?
Seems to be quite a quiet site or is it just me?
I'm looking forward to a wee bit of banter and liveliness from my fellow MGF Owners.

Re: HELLO FROM BONNIE SCOTLAND
There's life.....
I guess you're another forum-junkie - like me - who is used to things moving
at mach 2.
This place isn't like that. It's more tectonic plates stylee - but whatever is said is usually
well-considered before it is posted - unlike other places I can think of............
I usually post in the South Coast section - where I'm based, and I do tend to chat a bit.
But that's what I'm used to - my other forum is mostly female - we do go on - about all sorts of things - -
but amongst the dross is a lively and committed community.
This place is just as committed - maybe not quite as lively....and apart from me there's no dross.
I like talking to people - so talk to me - maybe we can draw a few others in.
p.s. - we also get spambots, so we MUST be good !
