Another old poser!
Hi, I have come back to MG after a break of 36 years (yikes!) with the purchase of a 2004 Trophy Blue TF135 in June this year . The car had a lot done to it before I got it but for peace of mind I had Cambelt, tensioner and water pump replaced and a full service by Jon and Claire Norris (outstanding). They also fitted a B&G low coolant alarm and refitted the soft top correctly: who would have believed that the rear section could be fitted the wrong way round?!
My previous MG experience was with an elderly MGB GT in the late seventies. I loved that car but a divorce got between me and it!
I Have always admired the F and TF but could never justify buying one. With prices how they are however it was worth risking wife two's anger, so I bought one and I'm pleased to say that she now also loves it. Hoping to learn a lot from you highly experienced Fers and TFers!

Congrats on your MGTF purchase and return to MG ownership, and welcome to the MGF Register. The forum is littered with helpful and knowledgable owners, so if you have any questions ask away. Would be great to see a picture of your TF.

Sorry for not including a photo of my new toy. Once the bad weather has passed over I will uncover her and post some snaps.

Welcome back! We like you were MGB GT owners in the late seventies BUT business got in the way for 20 years then in 1995 when the *F* was released we were smitten and an order was place - had to wait six months for delivery and we still have it - called the Green Squirrel and quite well known to some of the older *F* owners.
