Hiya,
Recently purchased my MG TF and thought I would say Hi.
The car is currently in need of some TLC and the guides on the forum have helped immensely with the initial repairs including removal\replacement of the engine and still a few bits left to sort.
Also have an interesting Mini project that is ongoing.
Cheers,
Mike

Re: Hello
Hiya,
Sorry it's a 135 in Solar Red.
The original engine had suspected HGF (boiling out the pressure cap on a long drive despite a new cap and one of those cheap exhaust gas testing kits showed gasses present too) but already had this replaced only about 2 years ago so expected other issues in there like overheated head damage etc and saw a complete rear frame\engine\box for sale with 6 months warranty at a good price so decided to replace the lot and then have a complete spare to rebuild at my leisure. Also it was a 2004 engine with all the PRT setup in place and MLS already fitted.
Just purchased a toyosports type back box to be fitted soon now the new engine is in and seems to be working fine (the original box is a bit worse for wear) and K&N style air filter to pop on that will be piped to the side air intake for hopefully a good cold air feed. All being well may look at the bigger brake kits in the future and possibly suspension but this is more of a day out car than racing as I have the mini for that purpose (although I just can't help myself and have to keep tinkering).
Haven't got any pics uploaded as yet to attach.
Cheers,
Mike
