Hello from Gloucestershire

Post by matt_b » Sat Jun 24, 2017 9:34 am

Just joined the forum after getting my TF on the road last month. I acquired if from a friend a couple of months ago and it needed a little bit of work to get it through the MOT - top front arm, exhaust, new rear calipers. It's an 1800cc 135 engine with 84,000 on the clock.

Nearer to Bristol than Birmingham, but work is making it a bit challenging at the moment!!

By all means have a get together somewhere :)

Oh awesome I'm remembering incorrectly then! It's just picking somewhere fairly central I guess, Cirencester would seem to be a good shout

I'd be up for a meet up, and Cirencester seems like a good idea.

Then pick a date and a venue that suits you both, we'll then promote it and see what happens :thumbsu:

Hello Hammond and Matt,

I've got a funeral tomorrow and a pretty busy weekend all in all but how is the 22nd for you guys? Let me know and if it's good I'll put a note up on the central register about it too in case anyone fancies joining us from there

I work most Saturday afternoons/evenings so midweek or Sunday afternoons are best for me.
If it was around midday on the 22nd I could probably come for a couple of hours before work. :thumbsu:

We can call it the 23rd if that's better for you :)
If you didn't see Rich from the Central Reigon has posted about a meet they're having near Stourbridge this coming Monday the 10th, I will likely miss it as I've got a snapped gear cable on my hands at the moment :(
