Hello from Buckinghamshire

Post by AntonyM » Tue Jul 11, 2017 8:57 am

Bought my 2006 135 TF a year ago from Church Sq Autos and had a lot of fun with it. Finally now got round to joining the register and meeting a few other owners.

I'm near Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire - interested to hear any recommendations for mobile mechanics or workshops in the area that I could trust with any jobs that come up.

We are in Marlow, and joined the Thames Valley MGF register - meetings are at the Novello pub, on the A4 Bath Road, Maidenhead from 7.30pm - there is one tomorrow, but have a look at the events diary under Thames Valley for future dates.

We use Rough Luck racing mobile mechanics, they are not local, but are very good and know MGFTF's inside out and the cost is reasonable, even including their fuel costs they are much cheaper than any specialists in the area.

Hi Anthony,
I'm an occasional poster so only just seen this.

in addition to the good suggestions made by others, when I can't fix something myself I've used one of the excellent mobile guys - but also MGRS in High Wycombe. Ex-MGR mechanics Robert & Simon (the R&S) have always been exceptionally honest & helpful, and at a fair price for a garage.

They did/do offer courtesy cars (MGR of course) too which is helpful.

Hope helps

Chris

Thanks for this recommendation - I've just had a couple of small jobs done by MGRS and was very impressed with them, and their charges. Will definitely be using them again.
