Hello from a newbie
Hello all,
I bought my 2001 MG F in October and joined MGCC at the NEC show in November. Both have been extraordinary experiences!
I moved here from America in December 2016. I had looked at buying an MG there but it was never feasible. Of course there are no Fs in the States so this is a new model for me. We only had Bs and Midgets for the most part. And there's that thing about the steering wheel being on the wrong side!!
I looked a long time to find my F. I am well pleased with it though it is a work in progress. I drove Jeeps in the States and it was a tight community of Jeep lovers. Everyone helping each other out. I see the same community here not just with the F register but throughout the MGCC. It makes me even happier to drive an MG and to be a member.
Anyway, thanks for reading this and I hope to meet many of you in the future!
Cheers!

Re: Hello from a newbie
Hello and welcome. I bought my first MG, a 2001 Solar red 1.8 MGF 18 months ago. I have loved driving this car and since bought a 1972 MGB GT.
The MGF however is the car I drive every day and after some initial work has never let me down. Good luck with yours and I hope you enjoy it every bit as much as I have mine.
