I now know I have an Abingdon MGF 1998 70 k miles
This car was laid up in a garage in 2006 and then was bought by a friend in 2015 but it sat in his unit until I purchased it off him it is totally. Original apart from the radio . And wheels but I have the original Abingdon wheels they just don’t have any tyres.
It has service history up to 50k. With both sets of keys and service folder
It needs The brakes overhauling and maybe some new rubber bushes.
Also it came wth an unused plastic case tool kit!!
I want to put it back on the road but it needs a set of coolant pipes and a fuel pump
I hope to slowly bring it back to a respectable condition
I will no doubt be pestering you all on here for help and advice .
New on here here’s my garage find

Nice flat six spokes, IMHO the best looking wheels for the MG.
If I were you I'd invest in new stainless steel pipes, they're not too expensive.
Also, I'd get a new fuel pump, just the pump unit is not very expensive really.

Yes I’ve decided to get stainless pipes
I’ll look into the pump unit
As for the wheels I will put the original Abingdon ones on ,and maybe use the the flat six spoke for winter
Many thanks
