Back Again....February 2019

Post by Androlyn » Mon Feb 11, 2019 11:30 am

Hello Everyone,
Well I am back again, had an F a while back which regrettably I sold, then nearly got a TF last year but that fell through. So on Saturday I went and picked up my latest MGF which after driving the 117 miles home am really pleased with, sure it needs things doing but don't all old cars. I got some very good help last time on here, in fact some topics I have already looked up such as the Snorkel Upgrade which is on my list of things to do :thumbsu:
Apologies in advance if I have a flurry of questions over the next few weeks, I am not a mechanic but like to try and sort things out if I can.
Thanks, Andrew.

Hopefully a few pictures.....

Just looked up the paint code and it's HFF the Pearlescent BRG, that will possibly make it slightly harder to match things up but at least I know what I need......

Welcome back! Pleased to see you've found yourself a very nice looking F.

Thank you, I like the Hairpins on your F, always fancied getting a set even if mine isn't a special edition.

Don't worry about fitting Hairpins to yours, but, being 16" rather than 15" you'd find some differences in ride and handling. The thinner sidewalls on the 16" wheels give a firmer ride and taughter handling
