Hello

Post by Lesley-Claire » Fri Aug 04, 2023 11:46 am

Hi all, I've just bought an MGF MK1 2001 as my new little run-around. I had an MGF about 20 years ago and regretted ever selling it as it was such a fun, if not impractical car. The difference this time is that I'm going to try and maintain/repair things myself instead of expensive garages. I presume the Workshop Manual is the best place the start as there's no Haynes?

The Workshop Manual is very detailed as is what was provided to dealers. Roger Parkers "Restoration Manual" may be a better choice as it has coloured pictures and is less in depth although very good. It depends really what level of maintenance you want to do yourself.
