New to MGF Register

Post by becky_lou » Wed Apr 07, 2010 2:17 pm

Hi all,
I have an 04 plate MGTF in Royal Blue. I've had it for a couple of years but am new to the register (my family are MG-nuts and are on here so thought I'd give it a try!)

Hi Becky and welcome.

I think I've made the family link!! You both joined us for a Sunday pub lunch a couple of weeks ago?

As Colin said, sorry to hear about your troubles. Hope you get the car back soon.

Farnborough is right on the very edge of the South Coast region bordering with the South East region.

If you wish to join in the fun I'm sure you will be made most welcome at either the South East meets or the South Coast meets.

The South Coast region meet every second Thursday of the month at the Bucks Head in Meonstoke about 30 miles from you. The South East region sometimes meet at the Jovial Sailor in Ripley about 15 miles from you.

Check out the regional forums for more info. :thumbsu:

Hi John,

I have my car back now - the garage have done a very good job and even replaced the exhaust (so there was more damage than I thought) - the rear end looks better than new now.

I will keep an eye out on both the south coast and south east forums for the latest events and hope to join you on a meet soon.

Becky

Great news about the car. :thumbsu:

I still have some free tickets for the Basingstoke Festival of Transport on 9th May if you are interested. I will be running with the MGF Register stand there. We currently have around 11 confirmed cars on the stand so we have room for a few more. Would be great to have you aboard if you are interested. It's a good day out. More details here.

Let me know and I'll get a ticket to you.

Failing that you will always be made most welcome whether you attend a South Coast meet or a South East one. :thumbsu:

Thanks John, sounds like fun. I will check with the other half (who lives in Basingstoke) and let you know if we can make the 9th :)

Oh, and thanks Colin and Nigel & Jo!
