Hi Adrian

Thank you very much I have seen that section for the Midlands. I am sure I will have a great time now the summer is upon us in my new car.

Hi Maxine and welcome to the MGF Register forums.

I have split this thread from your original posting to give you your very own thread. :thumbsu:

As well as keeping an eye on the Midlands section for events there is a list of MGF Register events here.

Enjoy your new car and I look forward to meeting you at an event quite soon. :thumbsu:

Hi Sparky

Thank you very much for splitting my posting. I realised after I made the post I should have started a new topic. The Abingdon air shows sounds great but its only a few days away from a trip to Portugal in my VW camper van.

I am not really sure if I could make it but my b/f loves air shows so it could be possible.

Thanks for your help

Maxine

Welcome to the Register :thumbsu:

We will be having a run down to the Abingdon airshow from the Midlands so if you do decide to go you are more than welcome to join us. We will probably be starting the run in Coventry again, so keep your eye on the Midlands site for more details.

We do have pub meets and normally a Sunday lunch now and then so hope to meet you at an event real soon.

Abingdon Air Show is a good day out with something there for everyone.

Would be great to see you there if you could make it.

If not, have a good trip to Portugal and hopefully we'll see you at an event shortly after that. :thumbsu:

Hi Colin

Thank you very much.

I only realised it was 1 of 500 after I bought the car which makes it even more attractive to me. I think my 1st ever purchase of an MGF was a great little buy. It only has 46k on the clock and has a full service history so its hardly done any miles at all for a 2001.
