Hi

Hello everyone,

just bought a 2002 TF and despite the fact that I've had it less than a week and its already back in the garage, i think I'm in love. took it out for its first long drive down to Sussex at the weekend and subsequently found out that when your foot is off the brake = brake lights on, foot on the brake or clutch = break lights off!! and then the rear view mirror fell off!!

I shall be counting on all of you for your insights and tips on how to make this new relationship work

thanks

Adam

Ah, the joys of owning an MG, doesn't it make you feel special

Nothing that can't be fixed, many second hand (and new for that matter) cars suffer problems shortly after new ownership, maybe one of the reasons the car was sold in the first place. Do you have a warranty with it, if so use it and I'm sure you'll love the car as many do.

By the way, it's not a long drive down to Sussex, fancy a European trip with us in the near future, I have a nice 9 country, 15 day one starting in May

Seriously though, these cars can travel across the UK and Europe with confidence, it's just like anything else, look after the basics and attend to those things that need attending to when they need it.
Bilstein shocks, Piper 4-2-1 manifold, Daytona, Vader cold-air induction, custom Z and F Stage 2 re-map, Electric boot release, braided hoses, Blue Magnecor leads, Technozen relays, Stage 1 head, BMW Angel Eyes headlights, "MG" puddle lights.
