2016 Holiday to France

Post by Worzel » Sun Sep 13, 2015 6:44 am

Hi All

Just looking ahead, who would be interested in doing a short break in France September 2016, staying here:

http://www.lesballastieres.com/index.html

Would go over via the Tunnel on Thursday 15th September and return Sunday 18th. Les Ballastieres can accommodate 7 double rooms, and is only 70 miles from Callais.
Drive in France would be via very scenic, off the beaten track villages instead of the boring main dual carriageways, with lunch stops and cafe stops on both the way down and back. Drives would be arranged to visit maybe Vimmy Ridge or the seaside whilst there, and we know of a very good hotel in the town that will do three course evening meals for about 17 euros!

Please do comment if you would be up for this.

Afraid we will be in Oz Ian. Sounds good though.

We are always interested in France Ian. Eating there always seems to work well, we really enjoyed the TV MGF visit to Belgium.

I know the tunnel is easy and quick, but I do enjoy a ferry crossing,
Here is a plucky green MG surrounded by tons of German metal.
