Arundel Castle Gathering - 17th April 2016

Post by Worzel » Fri Mar 18, 2016 4:25 pm

Arundel Castle, West Sussex, BN18 9AB

A very large gathering of all MG's in a stunning location, parking in the grounds of the castle. Cost is £8 per person, and is a great day by all accounts.
Entry into the Castle is extra.

We will set off from The Shire Horse, with a proposed basic route suggested to follow (no Tulips) to allow us a pleasant drive down.

MUFO UPDATE:
Having a look on the maps etc, it would be best to meet up just before Arundel due to everyone's differing starting points!

If we all meet at the Whiteways Cafe on the A29/A284 Roundabout, and be ready to depart from there at 09.45am.
From Maidenhead, it's about 1 1/2 hour trip down.

There is another café further north on the A29 between Billingshurst and Pulborough which would also make a good meeting point with a bit more of a drive - https://toatcafe.wordpress.com/

There is also one north of Billingshurst but that is more of a Happy Eater style than a good old fashioned transport caff.
