Bought back many memories from last years event. Wish I had been there this year ..... may be next year

Having a great time, am sitting here in the reception of Hotel Ve surrounded by some great friends from all over. Hanelore has done us proud again - the place is every bit as special and the food is awesome - we are made to feel sooo welcome - i really like this place (can you tell?) . Literally just outside the window is a stage and there is a live band (part of Maanrock) and we are enjoying good company and good times.

Kempenrit was also superb, the Belgians have excelled again, this time though it was a real scorcher - the sun beat down all day and a few of us are a little 'crisped' Fred got the 'furthest travelled' prize today at the Kempenrit and comes away with a metre of beer - a wooden frame filled with bottles of the finest Belgian malted beverages!

Not got a lot of time, but we're all very well, very happy and very scorched!

Next year, now there's a thought.

We have the 10th anniversary of Kempenrit and the 5th anniversary of Hotel Ve, as we were the first guests of the hotel back in 2006 we have been invited to the party. The date for 2010 is August 22nd, it will probably coincide with Maanrock again, but this date is not known yet. Let me know if you are interested, one year's notice is a lot of course but this will fill quickly and the hotel is only open for us (MGF Register and mgf.be).
