I was planning on making a weekend of it but infortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control I'm having to sacrifice this event. Completely gutted as I was really looking forward to it.
Still there's always next year.
Are you going?

Re: NEC Classic Motor Show 13th, 14th and 15th November 2009
Just about recovered from four days at the NEC ! Feet are still aching a bit
It was great to see so many people, both old and new members, visit the stand over the weekend. We managed to convert a substantial proportion of visitors to the MGCC as well so hope to see them at future events.
I'd like to say a big thank you to the team who all put in extraordinary effort at their own expense to help the MGF Register out over the weekend. So special thanks to Rob & Elaine Ball, Keith Williams, Kathryn Drewett and particularly Stewart Griffiths who also did most of the pre organisation and transportation of the stand.
We featured the Supersports II and the Church Square Autos Race Car on the stand and I'd like to thank Darren Vaughan and David Koskela for lending us their cars for the entire weekend and also the MGF Centre for transporting the SS2.
This really is such a massive show covering six halls of the NEC and with a wide range of cars on show and all the ancillary stands, autojumble and live shows. It's a great opportunity for us to talk to people about the Register and the MGCC from all over the country and abroad (there was a sizable contingent from Sweden and Northern Ireland). The below photos probably don't do the show justice but will give some idea of the MGF Register part of it !
Sian Welby (MG Live DVD Presenter) with the CSA race car on the stand
Supersports II on the stand
The moment that Phil Vickery knew he'd won the Star Car
The F Reg Team on the stand
Our girls !
The Star Car prior to being won
There was a lot of interest in the F Reg stand
