HIGHLANDER 2010 Pictures
EDIT - I notice some of the pics are cut off on the right hand side, dont know why
They can be seen in full at http://mg-freedom.proboards.com/index.cgi
Very nice to meet everyone and put faces to names.
Back from another HIGHLANDER with a couple of full SD cards! Here we go . . .
Saturdays Run was approx 180 miles in glorious sunshine
First picture of the HIGHLANDER 2010. Jim Garstang sets the standard and is out polishing his car before breakfast!
Fred having breakfast.
Paul Bridgeman and Michael Anderson check out Fred's sound system. Perthshire and Argyll also heard it!
Ready to go.
Regrouping.
Douglas and his new style bumper.
Loo break. Loch Earn.
Glen Quiach. A great wee road
Lunch at The Log Cabin Hotel, Kirkmichael.
Turf on the roof to act as insulation.
Sundays run was approx 220 miles.
The 'Military Road' overlooking Faslane Naval Base.
Heading into Otter Ferry (Loch Fyne)
Simon Davies' 85th looking over Loch Fyne.
Lunch at The Royal Marine Hotel, Hunters Quay near Dunoon.
On the A82 heading for the 'Drovers'
Arriving at the Drovers.
A funny wee place. The cleaner phones in sick every day.

Re: Highlander 2010 - 8th-10th May 2010
Great photos and looks like a great weekend.
I'm very familiar with the Military Road and the road from Garelochhead to Arrochar (I can highly recommend the Village Inn in Arrochar) and then beyond through Rest and Be Thankful to Loch Fyne. Great roads. Sadly, I've never been in my TF whilst driving them. Usually have a hired 2.0L Diesel Passat automatic. It's not quite the same somehow.
Hope to join you on one of these weekends one day. Maybe next year.

What great photographs........... I love to take photographs and I think others would agree from this selection that there are alot of well deserved calender shots here that would deserve a place in the Register Calender, well done....!
