Just a quick reminder that our Christmas lunch get together is 12.30 for 1pm on Sunday 21st December.

There will be no usual meeting this month seeing as the 4th Thursday is the 25th December!

Where is the get together being held?

It's in Boston itself (not at Nelson) one of our members in true generous Christmas spirit offered to wine and dine us!! At the moment it is fully booked, have had several queries about it so have updated MGCC Lincolnshire website to that effect too. There is a reserve list we are putting names on.

Ahhh I see . Not real register gathering then more of a party for friends.

It's both of course! This our MGF Register/MGCC Lincolnshire Centre 6th Natter Christmas meet so naturally it will be a party for friends! That's what most Christmas do's are!

Ahhh I see. Lincolnshire centre Natter where only a few can attend . Well have fun.

Hmm. Oh dear. Methinks the Grinch that spoilt Christmas has crept in somewhere. Bah humbug.

Anyway, many many thanks to John and Sandra for their very kind invitation (which for the record was extended to EVERYONE at our last few MGF Register Natters) for filling their home to capacity with us all and entertaining us so royally. The food was quite exceptional as was the hospitality and the company. Thank you so much for starting off the festive week so well.

Nope not Grinch at all. Was hoping to get out and have a chat with some like minded folk and see some different faces than those at home but it seems this was not to be. Although the situation has been explained to Geoff and Co it seems that either:-

1) They were not listening

2) They didn't believe what was said.

Over the last month Dad whom I am carer too has has another two TIA's (mini Strokes for those who inght not know) this has made things a triffle awkward as regards getting out especially in the evening. During the day when the nephew is often about makes it a bit easier. Right now we are just hoping that we make it past Christmas with out another and he remains out of Hospital. It requires two to be able to manage dad right now so evenings are a problem for going out.
