Sorry ladies and gents...

Post by stuart » Mon Jan 06, 2014 9:56 pm

I couldn't make it tonight- first day back at work today and had to cover a sick colleague...with a late visit thrown in for good measure- I've just got home.

Just got home after breaking down on the way to tonight's meet,
Got as far as westmill farm, then all warning lights come on,lights
Started flickering, lost power steering, then lights went out completely.
And to top things of I left my mobile at home, had to walk to a house
In darkness and beg to use their phone, upshot is I've had to join the
Rac,got the car recovered at looks like I'm going to need a new alternator
What a nightmare evening

Sad when this happens but it's been coming for many years. Actually, the last time I visited a scrappy was to get a halfshaft for Dad's A40 Devon. All fixed and on our way to North Wales well before lunchtime.

Why not mate, its dark early this time of year and I can bring one of Cath's cover along to hide it under
My mate has just brought a 2006 roadster and he's having wobbly at the price of the hardtops
Told him he should have got a F/TF :D

MTF or MX - who cares, they're both roadsters and both owned by people who enjoy a bit of fun while driving. That means no hardtops surely.
