Sounds fab. My own pref would be for a weekend. Do you want me to email Sam Glover or text Keith Moody just to back up the original request?

If I can make it I'll be there Rob. I keep missing your tech events as I seem to be travelling whenever you throw up dates.
I'll write it up for FasTForward, don't want PC getting an exclusive do we ?

Re: Technical and social day - testing out new diagnostic ki
Nice idea - may but may not be ideal for Lotus or Caterham owners - or indeed Phillip who owns a Peugeot!
It is a test to see how stable his device is, whether it can read every permutation of MEMS and allied Rover ECU in any vehicle in which it is bolted... plus we'll get to have all the fault codes read and deleted.
I'll bring my key programmer for any EKA or key fob programming needed.
Mostly, I see it as a chat for the majority of us

Re: Technical and social day - testing out new diagnostic ki
First or second week of June sits well for me.
Weekends are reasonably easy.
Week nights are usually possible with about a weeks notice.
What sort of location are we thinking about here?
Herts, Essex, London or Other?
Fob programmer for EKA and new fobs?
Hmmm, sounds better by the minute

How about doing it at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring on 8th?

Re: Technical and social day - testing out new diagnostic ki
I'm afraid that the 15th is about the only weekend that I can do this. Maybe we could meet privately in Hatfield one day?

Re: Technical and social day - testing out new diagnostic ki
How about this. Why don't we use the Plough Pub carpark. It has space, food, drinks and loo's. If we grab a quiet corner of it round the back, we won't get in anyone's way
I think we need to confirm this as soon as poss.

Re: Technical and social day - testing out new diagnostic ki
How much space will be available Ken? We're asking Caterham and Lotus owners along too - and we need other MG Rovers too... Parking for 20+?
My thinking is that the trading estate at Fiern Barnet (which is not far from me ) might offer the space, delicious refreshments under the glamourous golden arches (okay, it's got a MacDonalds... ) and in the event of someone needing to fix something (unlikely I know ) there is also a Halfords.
What do you think?
