That's what I was worried about Gary. Nice location, but perhaps a bit too busy? :(

Phillip has also suggested South Mimms services. What do you guys think?

I am thinking either South Mimms Services or the Friern Barnet Retail Park

We'll have to make a decision ASAP - so I'll aim to autocratically decide by the end of play today ;)

Be careful about using the services if you wish to be there for a while or they may start issuing 'parking tickets' on you. This can also occur in shopping complexes as well these days.

Yes if I remember correctly you only get 2 hours at a Service Station.

South Mimms I gather has been used by many car clubs - presumably without problems? Also, I guess, will anyone stay beyond 2 hours?

I know that parking is not well enforced at Friern Barnet - so this could be the "winner"...

FRL uses South Mimms, the organisers contact them beforehand and then the owners have to register in one of the shops, I don't recall which one.

I can't do the 15th, start of a weeks holiday.

Friern Barnet sounds good.

Latest details seem to be at viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15475&p=137240#p137240
now.

I had pointed Lotus clubs to this thread so above link for their benefit.
