The first (hopefully of many) East Midlands MGF Register Kaffenbak. I have shamelessly stolen this idea from the cycling community (and the name from a bike manufacturer).
The basic idea is that we all drive to a cafe and back (geddit, cafe 'n' back = Kaffenbak). It's not a run, more of a meet but at a greasy spoon cafe somewhere rather than a pub. We'll meet at 9:30 on the Saturday morning and probably be there for a couple of hours, then the rest of the day is yours to do as you please, either go off for a drive or head home for kid duties (that'll be me!).
I'm going for a tried and tested (many times
) venue for the first one. It's a great cafe with a selection of mammoth (and more sensible) fried breakfasts. The Salt Box Cafe
