Comfort kit

Post by Ken b » Mon May 19, 2014 2:57 pm

Hi all !!! On a recent trip to Ireland in the TF the standard suspension proved to be so hard that the car was almost unusable ( only 18000 miles from new ) so last weekend I purchased a comfort kit from VHS, It was in my opinion very expensive but having completed the fitting and had a good road test the kit has completely transformed the vehicle into a much more usable vehicle, so all in very expensive but well worth it and am now looking forward to many more rallies and holidays in the TF. Regards Ken b.

Glad you like it Ken- those of us that have fitted the kit all have similar positive things to say about it- Now you can aim the car directly at those great big potholes without the fear of them shaking the fillings from your teeth!!

It's really what the car was designed to have had on it from new, it was only the stingy accountants at MG Rover who forced the car to have sub-standard dampers in the first place.

By far the best modification, as you say not the cheapest, but well worth it :thumbsu:

'02 TF 160 - an Original MG Rover Group Press Car...and still lookin' sharp!

Bilstein Shocks, Z&F Remap, B&G Coolant Alarm, Glass Rear Screen, Braided Hoses, Bling-free at the moment...but that'll probably change
