I'm wanting to upgrade the OE speakers with a pair of Alpines, and as our TF was 2004 registered, the speakers and plastic cowls cannot be separated, unlike the earlier models where the rivets can be drilled out. AFAIK, the easiest way to mount the new speakers, is to buy a pair of Autoleads adaptors for the Astra/Vectra, but as there's more than one type for the Vauxhall cars, does anyone know the exact adaptor?.

My local Halfords have this one in stock, if it's the correct adaptor..

Also, if anyone knows which two of the four wires connect to the pos/neg on the new (co-axial) speaker itself..you, sir, are a star

I also have a 2004 car [ it was on the line in march 2004 being made ] and I just got speakers and replaced them Alpine ones
